iBEX successfully tendered for these detailed refurbishment works at these 2 iconic structures in Chatham, Kent.
The Bell Mast required installation of temporary restraint systems to the Bell Mast, to allow for:

• Replacement of rigging screws
• Abrasive blasting and re-painting of guy rope anchor base plates
• Cleaning of concrete anchor plinths and removal of vegetation

At the Machine Shop, iBEX carried out:

• Detailed survey of the existing frame to assess defects and number of bolts to replace
• Replacement of corroded rivets with custom made dome head nuts to replicate the defective rivets
• Temporary glass fibre repairs to cracked members
