iBEX was awarded this stabilisation project near the Clifton Suspension Bridge, in January 2016, with work beginning in February. Meticulous planning was essential as access was restricted and public access had to be maintained at all times to ensure minimal disruption to pedestrians and vehicle traffic.

iBEX carried out:

• Traffic management planning
• Vegetation removal
• Descaling and removal from site of loose material on the face
• Installation of Geobrugg Deltax Mex
• Drilling and grouting of dowels
• Drilling was carried out using a Marini drill mast on an 8 ton excavator as well as lightweight drill mast with CP32 drill on a 3 ton excavator for the top anchors
• Installation of border ropes to secure the mesh
