Following numerous projects at St Davids’, iBEX were approached by Des Harries Construction to carry out a detailed inspection of the main tower at the Cathedral using rope access and a subsequent survey of the high level areas using a MEWP.

• Using internal stairs to access the tower roof the team were able to set up ropes in order to survey the tower
• During the rope access survey of the spire loose materials were removed, making the area safe
• iBEX also provided a tracked MEWP and IPAF qualified operator to carry out inspections of the lower level structures
• The tracked MEWP was placed on load spreading boards when working on soft ground
• Following the inspections, a detailed photographic report was issued to the client
